Anciennes usines Fagor-Brandt
Nuits Sonores is marking its 15th birthday by unveiling a totally new and unique venue: the disused Fagor-Brandt factory in Lyon’s seventh arrondissement. The site, comprising three stages, numerous social areas and a vast food hall, can welcome up to 14,000 festival-goers at any one time.
On this location stands the R&D washing center of Brandt group.
Inauguration and main Nights
Back in 2002, Arty Farty was the first organisation to invest in La Sucrière. It has since become one of the strongest symbols of the festival, and the ideal setting for NS Days, the daytime festival.
The Auditorium of Lyon
The Auditorium of Lyon, high symbolic place of the city, will welcome for the first time Nuits sonores. In this majestic setting, the French electronic music scene pioneers Air will open the 15 years of the festival.
Nuits Sonores is returning once again to this exceptional venue, which will host the European Lab Forum, the Carte Blanche programme, the children’s festival Mini Sonore and the closing day of events, Sunday Park.
This magnificent rooftop venue perched at the summit of La Sucrière will play a key role in the NS Days program, hosting one of its stages. At night it will be the venue for special events, particularly those organised in collaboration with the festival’s partners.
Venue to be announced
Nuits Sonores will set up its central reception office, information point and cashless facility in the heart of the city centre. Opening: 3rd May 2017.
Main sites are accessible to people with disabilities.
