10 years of Nuits Sonores... And 5th edition of Extra! The chic, sexy and free wandering around the city. A unique initiative in Europe, Extra! Offers anybody with a little motivation to create an event and to appear in the program of the festival. Extra! - too-many-to-mention initiatives and odd projects – is one of the corner stones of the day time side of the festival. Since it started in 2008, Extra! Has gathered more than 47 000 festival goers and helped more than 140 structures, associations, collectives or just simple people to participate to the Nuits-Sonores event. Almost always free, the Extra! Program wants to bear many aspects: free-form exhibitions, roof parties, mutants fashion shows, disco-boats, nightclubs for kids, street cooking, electro jogging, sumo fighting, photo safari, crash culture, pirate radio, installation jackin', chic afterhours... You name it. Extra! Is a jolly melting pot where everybody gets together. Check it out.

This is the place where festival goers who wish to prepare the festival the way it should be: outside, in the grass, arms saluting the sun.
